Projects underway! + Athens GA

I have bought a bunch of tools lately... tools that arent really good but for doing specific things. If this project i am working on doesnt spawn into a new awsome hobby than i am out a lot of money. I'm not going to spill the beans on this project yet, not untill all of the parts and all of te tools are in my hands. Just know that it has the potential to be amazing.

I'm starting to get really excited about the GA state SS championships comming up in a week and a half. it'll be tons more exciting than the tour of california... what a boring stage race. The promotors of the GA state Single Speed championships moved the race to a non booze friendly venue apparently... oh well, those of us from NC last year know that we are the reason for that but it was all in fun, no one got hurt! we'll be having our fun in Athens anyways

So i read earlier this week that Jan Ulrich is retiring... We'll miss you you pink wearing doped up bastard

and on an end note... if any one can find me one of these in 90 or 100mm in any color i'll pay what it costs (reasonably)

i dont BLOG too well lately

according to Fennell, i needed to post new stuff so he has somthing to read... this one is for you.

i diddnt Blog the CSC short track race series that well so here is a brief synopsis: every week 3 or 4 guys would go up front, i'd hold their wheel for about 3 laps and i'd get my ass handed to me and i would have to ride by me self for the rest of the race, no one to chase no one to leave. The group behind me wich was usually 7 to 9 people werent close, the group ahead of me are both Expert catagory racers or old men with many miles in their legs. thats cool, i'll enter expert next time i want to race experts... the older guys are somthing to aspire to be some day! oh well for the second year in a row i am the 4th best single speed racer in the short track series: http://www.charlottemtnbike.com/ShortTrack/Results07/Overallresults07.pdf

i have been busy with two other projects however that i wont talk about until i solidify a few final details. OOOHHH!

me and some pals watched a couple of bike messenger movies last night, "Pedal" and "Redlight Go!" pedal was kind of depressing, but i liked the fact that they portray messengering as a time honored traditional "trade" rather than a scenester hip job with street cred because that is the way i always thought of it.

untill later,

~Drew
