South East Cyclist

I cam to the lovely southern coast of NC to spend the new year holiday with Rachel. Rachel lives on Oak island, it is the most south facing coast of NC just south of wilmington.
the weather out here is amazing right now so i took a bike tour of the island this morning while she worked with a client.

went for a morning ride at rennaissance park. 8 am, like i do sometimes.
i have a nice sample of crack ( another maverick demo bike) from a dealer (maverick rep) who wants to get me hooked (SPC to sell them)
so i tuned her in yesterday, put on my *trusty* pedals and off i went.

24 minutes of a ride later i left and went for coffee.
 my trusty pedals blew up and the hutchinson tires on the bike sucked.


























































































i love these bikes though. i will have one on my short list when i move to asheville, where i will get full use out of such a bike.
