Happy Friday the 13th!
yeah yeah yeah that badluck bull shit… every one that knows me knows that i am known for chronic bad luck. i have two tee shirts in my regular circulation that are branded “Shitluck”
its friday the 13th… bring it on. Despite my recent ruined relationship i have had some considerable good luck! i have dodged a bullet with my bank account for three days long enough to not bounce a particular check that has been waiting in the wings. yesterday i was even offered a fancy job with a local bike company. warehouse management and warranty service, salary and benefits and shit i have never had before. security…. it is atleast somthing to heavily consider.

I said i’d never do it…
I said in an earlier post that i would never miss Slaughterama (Richmond VA’s appocalyptic bike festival) for anything… but i did.
after the week i have just survived, going to a festival bred from the loins of meyham and chaos were just not in order. i needed serenety and relaxation. i needed to hang with one of my best buddies and drink burbon. so i went to Boone to hang out with John and Judy. i helped them move into the farm house they had lived in before they rode their bikes across the US, they helped me keep my mind off of my stress and woes.
John and i rode in Pisgah Nat’l forrest at Yancie’s ridge on saturday and i think i need new brake pads now John talked shit about my decending, i talked shit about him walking climbs…good times, on sunday we went out to Dark Mtn, to heckle and talk shit during the Super D race going on there. two negative dudes like us + libations and all we are really good for is shit talking. shit talking should be a team sport.
well on the bright side got a great show to see on tuesday (yea i am skipping the first lowes motor speed way time trial) featuring Smoke or fire, 5th hour hero (that girl is so cute) and Tim Barry front man of the punk band Avail, but his solo mission is folky and has lyrics that’ll make a man cry.
